July 2011… Drunk off the success of their debut album “Le Discotheque Martyrdom”, The Bastard Sunz had it all… The lack of hair, the Bastard money, the tens of screaming fans and a horde of midget groupies. The countless shows and months of excess had amalgamated into a disastrous summer of Bastard love, and instead of dropping their second album, they rehashed their original opus under the guise of “Le Discotheque Remixicon”, a remix album where by the remixes were acquired by vigorous hate campaigns, drug fuelled collusions and threats of severe bumming’s.
B’Tilla decided to take a summer’s afternoon to do his usual midweek activity – sitting outside of his local primary school drinking and regaling tales of Bastardry gone by… and did not return for 6 months. In the mean time, desperate to maintain the legacy placed by their tin certified debut and abated by fears of B’Tilla’s death, the remaining Bastards Milestone, Dj Rogue and Rola set about piecing together a 2Pac-esq posthumous album of scratched verses and poor blends. Sadly, B’Tilla does fuck all. So instead, they made this wonderful conglomeration of sketches, ideas, break ups and even a self produced and mixed beat tape.
Thankfully, B’Tilla was found on Bristol downs with just his customary top hat, mankini, 18 inch strap on penis and a bloody teddy bear, much to everyone’s relief. After taking up a meticulous rehab schedule, he’s back and rapey as ever…
Though expect a regression soon…
